DOG WALKING SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Dog Walking Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between ______________ (the “Walker”) and ______________ (the “Client”), owner of ______________ (the “Pet(s)”).

  1. Services. The Walker agrees to provide scheduled dog walks, fresh water, and post-walk updates for the Pet(s) from ____________ through ____________, at the times agreed upon by both parties.
  2. Compensation. The Client agrees to pay the Walker $______ per walk. Payment is due no later than the final day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  3. Cancellation. Either party may cancel scheduled services with at least 3 days’ written notice. Services cancelled by the Client with less notice may be charged at 50% of the agreed rate.
  4. Walking Equipment and Behavior. The Client will provide a secure collar or harness and suitable leash, and will disclose any history of aggression, reactivity, escape, or other behavior that could affect a walk. The Walker will use reasonable care and follow the Client’s written handling instructions.
  5. Emergency Veterinary Care. If the Pet(s) appear ill or injured, the Walker will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client. If the Client cannot be reached, the Client authorizes the Walker to seek veterinary care and agrees to reimburse reasonable veterinary expenses incurred on the Pet(s)’ behalf.
  6. Home Access. Any keys, codes, or access devices provided to the Walker will be used only to perform the services and will be returned or confirmed destroyed at the end of the service period.
  7. Weather and Safety. The Walker may shorten, delay, or reschedule a walk when heat, cold, storms, unsafe surfaces, or another condition could endanger the dog or Walker. The dog will remain leashed unless the Client gives separate written off-leash authorization.
  8. Liability. The Client remains responsible for damage or injury caused by the Pet(s) to third parties. The Walker is not liable for illness, injury, or escape of the Pet(s) except to the extent caused by the Walker’s negligence.
  9. Governing Law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State/Province of ______________.
  10. Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and may only be modified in writing signed by both parties.
