PET SITTING SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Pet Sitting Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between ______________ (the “Sitter”) and ______________ (the “Client”), owner of ______________ (the “Pet(s)”).

  1. Services. The Sitter agrees to provide pet sitting visits, feeding, fresh water, and companionship for the Pet(s) from ____________ through ____________, at the times agreed upon by both parties.
  2. Compensation. The Client agrees to pay the Sitter $______ per visit. Payment is due no later than the final day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  3. Cancellation. Either party may cancel scheduled services with at least 3 days’ written notice. Services cancelled by the Client with less notice may be charged at 50% of the agreed rate.
  4. Care of the Pet(s). The Sitter will provide the services with reasonable care and will follow the feeding, medication, and exercise instructions provided by the Client. The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information about the Pet(s), including any history of aggression, medical conditions, or special needs.
  5. Emergency Veterinary Care. If the Pet(s) appear ill or injured, the Sitter will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client. If the Client cannot be reached, the Client authorizes the Sitter to seek veterinary care and agrees to reimburse reasonable veterinary expenses incurred on the Pet(s)’ behalf.
  6. Home Access. Any keys, codes, or access devices provided to the Sitter will be used only to perform the services and will be returned or confirmed destroyed at the end of the service period.
  7. Liability. The Client remains responsible for damage or injury caused by the Pet(s) to third parties. The Sitter is not liable for illness, injury, or escape of the Pet(s) except to the extent caused by the Sitter’s negligence.
  8. Governing Law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State/Province of ______________.
  9. Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and may only be modified in writing signed by both parties.
